Robert E. Harrison, CCIM specializes in the sale of land and site selection across the southeast. He is licensed in TN, AL, NC, SC, VA and WV. Robert began working for Wattenbarger Real Estate and Auction Company in Loudon, Tennessee in 1997. In 2001 he joined R.M. Moore Real Estate Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. In July of 2011 Robert left Sperry Van Ness/R. M. Moore, LLC to form his own company, Wharf Street Realty, LLC. He has helped retail and multifamily developers with site selection, assemblage, and acquisition. He has brokered the land for numerous drug stores and quick serve restaurants (QSR’s) . He has experience with market rate and low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) land as well as farm, industrial, distribution, and brownfield properties. He was part of an interdisciplinary team advising an international non-profit with a complicated land disposition in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. His current clients include the renewable energy arm of a global utility, a QSR franchisee, and a sunbelt multifamily developer.

In addition to his brokerage experience, Robert is an active member of his community. An Eagle Scout, he was Scoutmaster for three years, 1993-1995. He represented the City of Loudon on the Loudon County Solid Waste Disposal Commission for twenty years, 1995-2015. In 2013 he co-founded Lyric Theatre Company, a community theatre group which staged over twenty plays between 2013 and 2020. He has been a youth soccer referee for the past twenty-five years. Robert served as Treasurer of East Tennessee CCIM Chapter for five years, 2011-2015.

Robert is a lifelong canoeist and whitewater boater. He enjoys hiking, running and gardening.

Robert has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Clemson University.
